Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Squelankyl's services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Services

Squelankyl provides clay modeling workshops, courses, and related educational services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time.

Registration and Payment

Workshop Registration

  • All workshop registrations must be completed in advance
  • Payment is required to secure your spot in workshops
  • Prices are subject to change without notice
  • All fees are in Canadian Dollars (CAD)

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 14 days before workshop: Full refund minus 10% administrative fee
  • 7-14 days before workshop: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before workshop: No refund
  • Credit may be offered for future workshops in cases of illness or emergency

Workshop Policies

Attendance

  • Regular attendance is expected for multi-session workshops
  • Makeup sessions may be available with advance notice
  • Late arrivals may disrupt the class and are discouraged

Safety

  • Follow all studio safety rules and instructor guidance
  • Wear appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes
  • Inform instructors of any allergies or health conditions
  • Use of studio equipment is at your own risk

Materials and Equipment

  • All basic materials and tools are provided
  • Personal tools and materials may be used with instructor approval
  • Squelankyl is not responsible for personal items
  • Finished pieces will be available for pickup after firing

Liability and Assumption of Risk

Participation in clay modeling activities involves inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge and assume these risks. Squelankyl and its instructors are not liable for injuries or damages occurring during workshops, except as required by law.

Intellectual Property

  • Workshop content and techniques taught are proprietary to Squelankyl
  • Students retain ownership of their created works
  • Photography or recording during workshops requires permission
  • We may photograph student work for promotional purposes unless you opt out

Code of Conduct

We expect all participants to:

  • Treat instructors and fellow students with respect
  • Maintain a supportive learning environment
  • Follow studio rules and safety guidelines
  • Use appropriate language and behavior

We reserve the right to remove participants who violate our code of conduct without refund.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Age Requirements

  • Adult workshops: 16 years and older
  • Youth workshops: Ages 8-15 (parental consent required)
  • Children under 8 must be accompanied by a participating adult
  • Special family workshops available

Modification of Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Prince Edward Island, Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Prince Edward Island.
